General Manager

As a General Manager at C-Job, you are responsible for developing and managing a specific office location in Rotterdam, of about 25 employees. You translate the organization’s overall strategy into concrete plans for the location and ensure these are successfully implemented. You are responsible for various aspects of business operations, including achieving sales and business development objectives. You manage the financial budget and personnel staffing (FTE), monitor KPIs, and steer both the operational and financial performance of the branch.

Additionally, you initiate innovation and continuous improvement to strengthen the office's competitive position and advise the Global Management Team on strategic decisions. You play an active role in building and nurturing a network with international clients and stakeholders. You always try to actively identify market opportunities, instead of merely reacting to developments.

Should structural problems arise in business processes, you identify them in a timely manner and implement the necessary adjustments in collaboration with the quality department to safeguard the high standards of ship design and engineering. Besides the Operations Manager, you directly manage a group of 3 to 5 Project Managers. Aside from business results, you also focus on the personal development and motivation of the employees.  You report to the Chief Financial Officer and serve as the face of the location for both internal committees and external project groups.
